Wahoo! It is time for the official 2026 Scheepjes Crochet-A-Long.
The Scheepjes Perfect Picnic CAL has been developed in collaboration with crochet designer Eleonora Tully of Coastal Crochet. Inspired by idyllic picnic locations, each colour palette brings the atmosphere and beauty of a special destination to life. With front and back relief stitches, playful bobbles, simple Tunisian crochet, and a join-as-you-go design, the blanket offers a fine balance between familiar and new techniques, with plenty of opportunities to build confidence as you discover colour, texture, and various crochet techniques.
The CAL starts on October 21st and runs through December 9, 2026.
Eleonora has extensive video tutorials and the expert support of Scheepjes moderators in the official Facebook group to allow participants to focus entirely on the joy of crafting, knowing that help is always within reach.
The Colour Crafter CAL kit contains 14 balls of Scheepjes Colour Crafter (100 grams each) and a Scheepjes Perfect Picnic tote bag measuring 42 x 32cm. Just add a 4mm and 4.5mm crochet hooks.
Your finished blanket will measure approximately 53" x 41" after blocking.
